Absence Without Leave (AWOL)
Unauthorized Absence (UA)
We represent military members in an AWOL/Deserter/UA
status, coordinate their return to military control and
negotiate with the command to reach the best possible
resolution to their case.
Military members who are in an AWOL/UA status are in a
dangerous position. The longer they stay in an AWOL or
UA status, the severity of the potential punishment
increases. In some situations, the member may face
court-martial. Depending upon how long they have been
gone, they may have a warrant out for their arrest.
Sometimes these members are arrested by civilian
authorities during a routine traffic stop and are held until
military authorities take them into custody.
