A Marine E-3 had gone AWOL on multiple occasions and contacted us for assistance. Ms. McCarthy coordinated with the command and assisted the member in returning to military control. She also helped him obtain the mental health treatment he needed. While pending a discharge for mental health reasons, the Marine was promoted to E-4 and ultimately received an Honorable discharge.
